I never thought I would know this much about Domino's

My semester is basically done. I just have one more week of class and internship hours at SicolaMartin. The main obstacle that stood between the summer and I was the Account Planning presentation. My team competed with other graduate advertising groups for the Domino's account for the Hispanic market. The agency, LatinWorks, got the Domino's account and allow UT Advertising grad students to research and create a campaign for them.

Our team name is Juiced, where we absorb, soak, and steep ourself in observation and information in order to wring out the essence. As a result, we chose a sponge. It has personality, which perfectly represents the mentality and persona of the team.

I am so glad to be done with the project and I'm really proud of the finished product. I think our ideas were stellar and are exactly what need to be initiated for Domino's to be a strong brand and establish a strong presence in the Hispanic market. We wanted to bring Domino's experience in the US back to the positive brand experience that first-generation Hispanics had back in their home countries.

After many nights of no sleep and working in the same room with the same people every night, it makes me so happy to have free time again. We spent six weeks talking about pizza, eating pizza, comparing pizza, and analyzing pizza. I don't want to think about Domino's anymore.

I find out in two days which team's work they choose. It would be an amazing opportunity to be chosen, so here's hoping.
