It is at that point in the semester where this question comes up a lot. And I'm happy to say that I think I've got a pretty amazing answer. I was accepted into the amazing Multi-cultural Advertising Internship Program (MAIP). If you are accepted into the program, you are chosen by one of the top agencies in the industry to do a summer internship and the majority of your travel and housing costs are covered. I am so excited to be working with Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners in Sausalito, California!
They work on some phenomenal accounts like Nike, Priceline, Lucas Arts, and Greyhound among many others. And its not half bad that they just keep winning awards for their work on the Mini Cooper. I'm going to be packing my bags and moving out to CA at the end of May and starting June 2nd. Who's excited? Answer: me!
