I'm a Master... and now have a diploma to prove it.

This past Saturday, I dressed up in a ridiculous robe, outrageous hat and odd hood to walk across the stage and receive a piece of paper telling me that I would get another piece of paper in 6-8 weeks telling me I was a Master. "Master of what" you might ask.
Master of Life? Sure.
Master of Paper writing? Thats one way to put it.
Master of endless group work that makes you want to tear out your hair? Yes.
Master of Advertising?

That one is a little trickier. I spent the past two years immersing myself in this insanity known as Advertising. But four internships, endless classes and a freelance job later, I've experienced so much and still feel like there is so much for me to learn. But, I'm a Master nonetheless.

On the commencement note, my graduation ceremony did not have a formal speaker (probably due to the fact that the ceremony would have been over three hours long with one). So with a note of sadness for my deficient ceremony, I give you Ellen DeGeneres' commencement speech for Tulane University. This is what a commencement speech should be: funny, inspiring, and dance-filled.
